Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with bus bins and ensuring kitchen areas are tidy for staff to work in. Help prepare ingredients for cooking as directed by the culinary team. Follow food handling safety guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor. Skills Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cooks, servers, and other kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever necessary within the culinary team.
