Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Your energetic approach will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, supporting cooks and food service staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant hospitality setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and ready for use. Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and work surfaces. Support food handling protocols by ensuring all items meet health regulations and safety standards. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment. Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and sinks safely and efficiently. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly. Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife skills for basic prep tasks if needed. Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene at all times. A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach that thrives in fast-paced hospitality settings.
Pay:
From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
