Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring that all surfaces are free from debris and spills. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Support kitchen staff during peak hours by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Requirements Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
