Dishwasher The Nash Casino - 1.0 Nashua, NH Job Details $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Essential Job Responsibilities Safely use all kitchen equipment and cleaning/sanitizing products according to SDS and departmental standards. Follow proper safe‑handling, usage, and storage procedures for all chemicals. Scrape, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, and wares into dish machines. Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machines and ensure proper operation. Clean, transport, and store pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and dining ware used throughout the food and beverage operation. Ensure proper storage and organization of all cleaned kitchenware. Empty trash containers regularly and maintain cleanliness of disposal areas. Keep dish and prep areas clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the shift. Report equipment malfunctions, supply needs, or product issues to department leadership immediately. Assist kitchen and F&B staff by ensuring timely availability of clean wares. Maintain a calm, helpful, and professional demeanor in fast‑paced or high‑stress situations. Build positive and professional relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and managers. Demonstrate reliability, accuracy, efficiency, and strong time‑management skills. Maintain required uniform and appearance standards. Assist in training and mentoring new Team Members when requested. Report irregularities or unusual situations to the manager on duty. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times. Work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully pass all required pre‑screening and background checks. Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current position with no active corrective action in the past six months. Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to obtain any required work cards or non‑gaming registrations as mandated by local jurisdiction. Physical Demands / Working Conditions Physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, balance, and navigate kitchen/work areas. Ability to tolerate temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning agents, and sanitizing solutions. Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to read, interpret, and use basic computer and POS systems if required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and respond to visual and auditory cues. Work environment may include exposure to loud noise, kitchen equipment, overhead music, guest chatter, and areas where smoking is permitted. Manual dexterity required to operate dish machines, cleaning equipment, and related tools. Requires adequate hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
