Job Description
Shift Type :
Varied; With Friday, Saturday, and Sunday required, and full availability the rest of the week Looking for a candidate who is dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior dishwashing experience requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Depending on experience, duties, responsibilities, and SOPs outlined below may be taught and demonstrated during the Dishwasher training process.) Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef Requires dependable, punctual attendance and willingness to work flexible hours and attend mandatory meetings Interact positively and effectively with fellow Employee Owners and Managers Operate dishwashing machine and/or wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand when required Maintain dishwashing area and equipment in clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times Ensure proper chemical usage and water temperature levels in dish machines Follow all sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with Health Regulations and Food & Beverage SOPs Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and trash areas Empty trash, recycling, and grease containers as needed Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals Assist with kitchen deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled Restock kitchen stations with clean wares, utensils, and equipment Assist cooks and kitchen team members with basic prep or transport of items as requested Adhere to all Company Policies and Departmental SOPs Perform all other duties as assigned RequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the below essential duties satisfactorily: Must be able to operate dish machine and cleaning equipment safely Must be able to lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Clean appearance and neat attire required Pleasant demeanor with co-workers is a must Requires the ability to follow directions from Supervisors and Management Requires the ability to work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Willingness and ability to learn technical cleaning and sanitation skills Ability to multitask and complete assignments in a timely manner EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous restaurant or kitchen experience a plus, but not requiredAGE AND CERTIFICATIONS 18
years of age or above Ability to obtain a Health CardLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions in English Fluency in English required. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plusMATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills (able to count, measure, and record inventory as needed)REASONING ABILITY

The work environment is generally warm, humid, and fast-paced Noise levels are usually moderate to loud Due to the nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs The Dishwasher/Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dish room.
