Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and dish racks. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and handling basic food prep when needed. Support catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods. Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling protocols to promote an eco-friendly environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and cleaning procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Willingness to assist with food handling, bussing, or light food prep as part of team support. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Prior banquet experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
