Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher/Porter, where your energy and attention to cleanliness will play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience. In this lively position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, prep areas, dining spaces, and storage rooms to meet health and safety standards. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision. Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials to keep the workspace tidy and organized. Help with setting up banquet or catering events by transporting supplies and assisting with cleanup afterward. Follow all food handling safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards across all duties. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or moving supplies. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
