Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Overview We are looking for a Dishwasher/Prep cook to join our MA's Cafe team! Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain a clean workspace Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to menu specifications Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards and prevent cross-contamination Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a hygienic environment Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Skills Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking methods such as sautéing, boiling, and baking Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting overall kitchen operations

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
