Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher / Prep Cook, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks. Your hard work will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are consistently met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced food service setting. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to menu specifications. Support the cooking team by preparing basic ingredients and components for meals, ensuring timely service. Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Help with meal plating and presentation during busy service times under supervision. Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to promote efficiency. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to prevent accidents or contamination. Qualifications Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff. Prior experience in catering or food service industries will be advantageous but not mandatory.
