The facility is designed to become a premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community. Managed by KemperSports, Henderson Sport & Social proudly embraces the Core True Service philosophy: Be Genuine, Helpful, and Friendly Service is a Team Sport To the Guest, Everything Matters Customer Happiness is Everything My Attitude is My Responsibility Position Summary Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and efficient kitchen by ensuring dishes, cookware, utensils, barware, and kitchen equipment are continuously cleaned, sanitized, and available to support food production and guest service. Stewards are the foundation of an efficient kitchen by ensuring every team member has the clean equipment, organized workspace, and sanitary environment needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences. What Success Looks Like Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times. Ensure clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment are always available. Support the kitchen team through teamwork, urgency, and proactive communication. Identify and report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain sanitation standards that meet or exceed health department requirements. Lead by example through Henderson Sport & Social's Core True Service philosophy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate the dish machine and properly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and bar equipment. Properly organize and store clean dishes, cookware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and smallwares. Maintain cleanliness and organization of both the kitchen and bar dish areas. Wash pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and floor mats as needed. Empty trash and recycling, sweep and mop floors, clean floor drains, and maintain a safe work environment. Assist with organizing storage areas, receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and putting away supplies. Assist Prep Cooks and Line Cooks with basic food preparation, including washing produce. Monitor chemical levels and notify leadership when supplies require replenishment. Report broken equipment, dish machines, racks, leaks, or safety concerns promptly. Remain productive during slower periods by assisting kitchen team members. Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Positive attitude with a passion for teamwork. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices. Desire to grow into Prep Cook or other kitchen positions. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Work safely in hot, wet, fast-paced kitchen conditions.
