Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the food service team by bussing tables and clearing used dishes promptly to keep dining areas tidy. Help with basic catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring cleanliness of all items used. Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times. Skills Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering events. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of kitchen operations including basic food preparation and serving techniques. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service. Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
