This energetic position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your contributions will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests, supporting culinary excellence and efficient food service operations. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and quick turnaround of dishes during busy service periods. Uphold sanitation standards through regular cleaning schedules and adherence to health regulations. Skills Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation practices within a restaurant or hotel environment. Experience with bussing tables and supporting food service operations in fast-paced settings. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic culinary skills. Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and effectively. Previous experience in banquet service or catering environments is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Familiarity with hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction through cleanliness and efficiency.
