Position Overview The Dishwasher plays a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. This team member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dish area, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. The ideal candidate works quickly, stays organized, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cooking equipment using both industrial dish machines and manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, floors, and waste disposal areas throughout the shift. Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated areas. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning or prep tasks as needed. Empty trash bins and transport waste safely to disposal areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper chemical handling. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a steady flow of clean dishes during busy hours. Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to management immediately. Qualifications No prior experience required — we'll provide on-the-job training. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help where needed. Must follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times. Compensation $15.75 +
