In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cookware. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our kitchen runs smoothly, supporting chefs and food service staff in preparing and serving delicious meals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the food service team during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing used dishware. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including sinks, dishwashing stations, and storage spaces. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene compliance. Help with catering or banquet setups by cleaning serving ware and assisting with dish organization. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for cooking and serving. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks such as bussing, food prep, or assisting with catering events. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
