Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This energetic position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your dedication to cleanliness and safety will directly contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Clear and buss tables promptly to maintain a clean dining environment Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and large quantities of dishware with proper technique Follow sanitation standards to uphold kitchen health and safety regulations Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are stored correctly and hygienically Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training provided on the job Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organization tasks Good manual handling skills with an understanding of kitchen health and safety standards Willingness to learn operating kitchen equipment and knife skills if applicable Reliable team player with a positive attitude committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
