Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting the overall food preparation process. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean cookware, utensils, plates, glasses, and kitchen tools Sort and organize dirty dishes and kitchenware for optimal cleaning flow Ensure all food preparation and service areas meet strict food safety standards in handling and sanitation Assist with basic meal preparation tasks such as slicing ingredients using proper knife skills and following safety protocols Support food production by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and storage areas Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely to prevent injury Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, equipment operation, and heavy lifting to maintain a safe work environment Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Basic knife skills and familiarity with slicing techniques are advantageous Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation standards in the food industry Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude Basic math skills for measuring ingredients or managing inventory when needed Willingness to learn about culinary techniques, food preparation equipment operation, and sensory evaluation practices This role is paid and offers a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of our guest experience.
