Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations, storage areas, and kitchen floors by regularly cleaning and organizing. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when needed to support the culinary team. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to promote smooth operations. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance across all tasks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and maintain a seamless workflow. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting restaurant operations.
