Assistant Superintendent

What You'll Do As the Assistant Superintendent, you'll partner directly with the Paving Superintendent to keep projects on track, on budget, and executed at a high level of quality. Support day-to-day project execution across paving and site work Assist with job costing, budgeting, and tracking performance Help foremen understand project scope and ensure expectations are met Perform jobsite layout and preparation ahead of crew arrival Coordinate with customers on schedules, scope, and job readiness Assist in planning schedules, crews, and resources Implement and maintain quality control processes across jobsites What You Bring 3+ years of experience in construction management, heavy civil, or related field Strong background in asphalt paving and site development Experience with project scheduling and managing subcontractors Working knowledge of job costing and budgeting principles Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Familiarity with asphalt paving operations Experience in concrete construction and land development Ability to work overtime as project demands require What You'll Get Field-based role with consistent hours (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Newly renovated office and strong operational support Competitive compensation and excellent benefits package Employee profit-sharing program Long-term stability with a company that has over 100 years of success Real opportunity for career advancement in a growing organization Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hudson, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
