The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. Duties Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required by the culinary team. Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain hygiene standards. Organize and restock clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies while performing duties. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus. Experience in banquet service or hotel kitchens is advantageous. A strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency is essential.
