Job Description
Job Overview Alléchant is seeking a reliable dishwasher for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday dinner services. We are a busy full-service restaurant with a focus on merging fine-dining quality and neighborhood charm. Duties Rinse, load, and re-stock dishes Collaborate with kitchen to ensure smooth operations during service Use slower moments to accomplish routine cleaning tasks in dish room and across the restaurant Clean dish room, take out trash+recycling, and leave a spotless work area at end of day Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a hygienic working environment Experience/pre-requisites Prior food service experience is strongly preferred, though not strictly mandatory Attention to detail Sense of urgency Strong time-management skills Must be physically comfortable bending down repeatedly to load and unload waist-high dishwasher. Must be mindful of handling dishes gently, in order to minimize loud sounds carrying from our semi-open back of house into dining areas.
