Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team for Partners Pub as a Line Cook/Dishwasher, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant dining experience for our guests. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and cooking. Your dedication to food safety and quality will ensure that every plate served meets our high standards. Whether you're chopping vegetables, washing dishes, or supporting the kitchen staff, your contributions will be vital to our success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly to support meal preparation and menu execution Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times Support the culinary team with basic cooking tasks such as chopping, portioning, and plating under supervision Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock levels Help maintain an organized workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines and safety regulations Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting fellow kitchen staff Experience Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen equipment is advantageous Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide can be beneficial for understanding special meal preparations Exposure to fine dining settings or catering environments helps develop refined knife skills and attention to detail Basic culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is highly valued Knowledge of menu planning or food industry standards enhances ability to support diverse kitchen operations Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality standards Join us and be part of a team that values hard work, enthusiasm, and a passion for great food!
