Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques to meet health standards. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting culinary staff during busy service periods. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with safety protocols to uphold sanitation standards. Perform routine maintenance checks on dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment; report any malfunctions promptly. Uphold food handling safety procedures by adhering to hygiene standards and proper sanitation practices at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key! Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
