Registered Behavior Technician Insight Therapeutic Services - 5.0 Mount Vernon, NY Job Details Part-time | Contract $30 - $35 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Teamwork HIPAA Working with children Direct support Data collection Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and providing support to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Training is provided.
Availability:
Monday-Friday after school hours with possible weekends Must have RBT Certification Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings. Collect and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Assist in patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote client success. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health. Qualifications Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to client behavior and progress. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members. A background in special education or related fields is preferred but not required.
