The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential in supporting food preparation and service, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking duties under the guidance of chefs or cooks. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas during busy service times. Support banquet and catering operations by ensuring all service items are clean and available for events. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow. Requirements Previous experience in food service or culinary settings is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
