Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. We are currently looking for a Dishwasher on Sundays and Mondays, the shift is from 5:30-10:30. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential in ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. There is also plenty of room to grow in the position. More hours could potentially be available as a prep cook or porter. And with more experience, this position could transition into a line cook. Looking for someone that wants to work with a small team and continue to grow with us. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed. Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen team. Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is not required. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
