Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations. Support catering and banquet services as needed, assisting with food setup and presentation. Buss tables and assist with dining area cleanliness during service hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Perform regular inventory checks on kitchen supplies and report shortages. Requirements Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
