Sharkie's - Woodstock, NY $18-$22/hour, depending on experience Part-time | Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday | Year-round Sharkie's is looking for a reliable Prep Cook / Dishwasher to join our small kitchen team. This is a hands-on position that combines food prep, basic kitchen work, and dishwashing . You'll help keep the kitchen stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service. During busy periods, everyone works together to keep things moving. We're a small, close-knit kitchen, so we're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable staying busy. What You'll Do Prep vegetables, sauces, ingredients, and other items for service Follow recipes and basic food-preparation procedures Help with simple cooking and kitchen tasks as needed Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keep work areas, equipment, and the kitchen clean and organized Help with stocking and putting away deliveries Support the rest of the kitchen team during busy service Follow food safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For Required:

Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a small team Comfortable being on your feet and staying active throughout the shift Able to follow directions and learn quickly Takes pride in keeping a clean, organized kitchen

Preferred:

Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience Basic knife skills Familiarity with food prep and commercial kitchens Kitchen experience is helpful, but the right attitude and reliability matter most . We can teach our systems and recipes to someone who is willing to learn and works hard. Schedule This is a consistent, year-round part-time position .

Your regular schedule will be:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday The same core schedule is maintained week to week, making it easy to plan around work. Additional hours may be available during our busier seasons.
