Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef Position Summary The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in keeping the Black Rock Bar & Grill kitchen running smoothly. You'll maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting the kitchen team with dishwashing, basic cleaning tasks, and occasional food prep assistance. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things spotless. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces. Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures at all times. Assist with trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and general kitchen cleanliness. Restock clean dishes and kitchen tools to their designated areas. Support kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when needed. Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Handle equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly. Qualifications No prior experience required—training provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
