Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all kitchenware is properly cleaned and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic chopping and assembling ingredients. Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Support catering events by ensuring all necessary kitchenware is clean and organized. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout the shift. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to assist in various tasks as needed, including banquet setup and catering support. A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
