Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient handling when needed. Support banquet and catering events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup as required. Help keep the kitchen area organized and ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for service. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively. Willingness to learn basic food prep tasks such as bussing tables or assisting in simple food preparation.
