Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and inviting Operate kitchen equipment safely, such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety standards Follow all food safety management protocols to maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure compliance with kitchen health and safety standards Requirements Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures within a commercial kitchen environment Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are advantageous Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting Commitment to adhering to all food safety regulations and health & safety policies Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality by applying your energy and dedication as a Dishwasher.
