Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and safely. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Your efforts ensure that our kitchen adheres to the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and efficiency, enabling our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional scratch made products every day. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Manually handle and scrub items that cannot be processed through dishwashers while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, floors, and storage spaces. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with operating commercial dishwashing machines and basic kitchen equipment is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail in cleaning processes and adherence to kitchen health standards. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude towards teamwork and supporting restaurant operations.
