Responsibilities Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools Clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools in accordance with health and safety standards Assist with basic meal preparation tasks such as slicing ingredients using proper knife techniques and handling food with care Support food production by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and ensuring all surfaces are hygienic for food handling and cooking Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots, trays, or boxes of supplies while following proper safety procedures Follow safety standards in production areas to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations, including serving and catering tasks when needed Skills Basic knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Knowledge of food handling, safety management, and sanitation procedures in a restaurant or food industry setting Experience with food preparation equipment operation and basic cooking skills Strong manual handling abilities for heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment safely Familiarity with food safety standards and sensory evaluation to ensure quality control Excellent customer service skills to support team efforts in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory accurately Prior restaurant or catering experience is preferred to excel in this role Join us as a Dishwasher and become an essential part of our team!
