Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Sunnehanna Country Club. As a key member of the back-of-house staff, the Dishwasher ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwasher or by hand as needed. Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and tools are clean and organized at all times. Assist with trash removal and recycling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations and kitchen areas. Follow proper sanitation and food safety guidelines. Support kitchen staff with basic prep duties as needed. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management. Work as part of a team to uphold the standards of cleanliness and hospitality of the club.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment preferred but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, etc.). Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
