Salary:
Starting at $15 / hour J ob Summary The Utility Person is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen areas not assigned to other employees when working as a custodian. Cleans all pots, pans, kettles, and other miscellaneous tools used in food preparation when assigned to pots areas. Responsibilities Keeps the food service area clean and sanitized according to Board of Health regulations. Washes all kitchen wares, pans, utensil and returns to proper location. Operates dishwasher and ware washers and keeps them cleaned and descaled routinely. Daily removes trash and cardboard from the building throughout the shift. Keeps kitchen area swept, clean, safe, and organized. Cleans cafeteria, dish room, serving area and food production area. Cleans all bathrooms daily, restock and maintained throughout the day. Cleans and restocks handwashing sinks daily Follows weekly and monthly cleaning list Other related duties as assigned Assists in other department positions as needed. Qualifications Must have a High School or equivalent. Three months experience in food service as a utility worker or dishwasher.
Ability to follow instructions:
must be able to learn all aspects of the position in short period of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Moderate physical activity. Able to work fluctuating hours. Qualifications:
