Porter/ Café Support — The Ground Coffee, Plants & Gifts Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia Part-Time | Weekends This is a little bit of everything: food running, bussing, dishes, cleaning, restocking and supporting both our kitchen and front-of-house teams. If you like staying busy, moving around and figuring out what needs to happen next, you'll probably enjoy this job. This is not a position where you'll spend much time standing around. What You'll Do Run food from the kitchen to customers Bus and reset tables and keep the dining room tidy Wash dishes and keep the dish station moving throughout service Restock supplies for the kitchen and bar Refill items such as syrups and other service supplies Take out trash and recycling Check and tidy restrooms Help with cleaning and closing tasks Communicate between the kitchen and FOH Jump in wherever the team needs help Who We're Looking For Restaurant experience is helpful, but we're happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic. You'll be a great fit if you: Are dependable and show up on time Are friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Like fast-paced, physical work and can stay on your feet for a full shift Notice what needs doing without waiting to be told Work quickly while still paying attention to details Aren't afraid of dishes, cleaning or getting your hands dirty Communicate well and enjoy being part of a team Weekend availability is important , particularly during our busiest Saturday and Sunday shifts.
