You'll be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use, while also assisting with food preparation tasks that support our culinary team. Duties Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to uphold sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning foods under supervision Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and food prep zones by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Bypass cross-contamination by adhering to hygiene protocols during food prep and dishwashing processes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in commercial kitchens Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with basic food preparation methods such as chopping or portioning ingredients Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during peak hours Understanding of food handling safety protocols and hygiene practices Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences.
