Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is vital to supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a variety of settings, including restaurants, hotels, banquets, and catering events. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with the organization of clean dishes and ensure proper storage to prevent contamination. Support kitchen staff by helping with basic food preparation tasks when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in various roles within the kitchen. Basic understanding of culinary operations is a plus; familiarity with bussing and cleaning procedures is beneficial. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
