Servsafe Food Handlers Certification is required. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support the catering and banquet teams by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to facilitate smooth service flow. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations in a fast-paced environment. Skills Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure sanitation standards are met consistently. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key. Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety protocols. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food-related roles. Excellent teamwork skills to support chefs, servers, and event staff seamlessly. Basic cooking or food preparation skills are advantageous for assisting during busy periods.
