Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. As a key team member, you'll ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use, supporting the overall flow of food preparation and service. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients or organizing supplies when needed. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to facilitate smooth service flow. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall cleanliness and operational efficiency during busy shifts. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and kitchen sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills; willingness to support other staff members as needed. Basic knowledge of food preparation or catering services is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about culinary operations and hospitality standards. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to gain experience in the food service industry while contributing to a lively team environment.
