Food Prep Reports To:
Kitchen Manager Role Overview As a Part-Time Dishwasher/Food Prep, you'll help keep daily meal service running smoothly by supporting the kitchen with dishwashing, sanitation, and basic food prep. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and assisting with simple prep tasks as needed. The best candidates are dependable, efficient, and take pride in keeping things spotless and running on time. Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots/pans, and kitchen equipment; keep dish area clean and organized Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times Assist with basic food prep (washing/chopping produce, portioning, light prep work) Help with kitchen cleanup, trash/recycling, and end-of-shift shutdown tasks Support the Kitchen Manager with restocking and light inventory tasks Take feedback well and help ensure a positive experience for the chapter Qualifications Prior dishwashing and/or food prep experience preferred (but willing to train the right person) Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Professional, guest-friendly demeanor ServSafe preferred (or willingness to obtain, if needed) What We Offer Competitive pay 401(k) with company match (eligibility rules apply) Predictable schedule during the academic year Schedule Monday - Thursday 12:00pm-6:30pm Part-time hours during the academic year, with occasional flexibility for special events.
