Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient organization to support culinary staff. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are clean and ready for use. Buss tables during meal service to clear plates and reset dining areas promptly. Follow food handling safety standards to ensure hygiene compliance at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies needed for cleaning or food prep. Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures. Experience in food service or catering environments is a plus, especially in banquet or hotel settings. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
