Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods to ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware are spotless and sanitized Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, floors, and storage areas to meet sanitation regulations Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support bussing duties by clearing tables and removing used dishware promptly during service hours Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Handle kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other utensils, adhering to proper manual handling techniques Support kitchen staff by assisting with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment as required Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling techniques Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive motions throughout shifts Basic knife skills or familiarity with culinary tools is a plus but not required; training will be provided for those interested in developing culinary knowledge Join us as a Dishwasher and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
