This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment to support our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. Previous experience in food handling, restaurant, catering, or hotel settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, kitchen operations, and hospitality service. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by cleaning workstations, sinks, and surrounding areas regularly Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils in designated areas Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food handling and sanitation standards are met Assist with catering events or banquet setups when required Support the kitchen team with general cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic environment Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks such as bussing or basic food prep Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
