You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient organization when needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area. Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events. Follow food handling safety procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations at all times. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies. Experience with bussing, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies will be advantageous. Previous hotel or culinary experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
