This dual-role position is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen. Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use. Support banquet and catering operations by preparing food items as needed. Buss tables and assist with serving during busy meal periods. Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred. Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining kitchen hygiene. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and guests.
