This vital role combines the art of preparing delicious fried dishes with maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. As a Fry Cook/Dishwasher, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional food service experiences, ensuring that every plate meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively, efficient kitchen atmosphere where teamwork and customer satisfaction thrive. Duties Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent flavor and presentation. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support smooth kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to uphold food safety standards. Organize and stock kitchen supplies, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by assisting with meal assembly and plating when needed. Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by adhering to safety protocols and working collaboratively with team members. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in fine dining or catering environments. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred. Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and food service operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
