Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Support the food service team during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing used dishes promptly. Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance across all tasks. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous. Prior kitchen or hospitality experience helps in understanding the fast-paced nature of food service environments.
