The historic Grand Galvez is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our FoodBeverage team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping a clean workspace and supporting the culinary team. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and kitchen areas. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas. Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks. Maintain clean and safe kitchen floors and work areas. Restock clean dishes and kitchen tools as needed. Qualifications Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to work as part of a team. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
