Position Title:
Back of House Team Member (Line Cook, Expo/Food Runner, Dishwasher) Position Summary We are seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Back of House team. Team members may work in a variety of kitchen support roles including Line Cook, Expo/Food Runner, and Dishwasher. Successful candidates thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, maintain a strong commitment to food safety and cleanliness, and work collaboratively to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to company standards. Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure timely and accurate service. Verify food quality, presentation, and order accuracy before delivery. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations throughout each shift. Assist with food preparation, stocking, and station setup. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Support team members across multiple kitchen functions as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations. Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred but not required. Experience as a line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, food runner, or expo is a plus. Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a high-volume environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and guest service. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler Permit in accordance with local and state regulations. Scratch kitchen experience is preferred for Line Cook candidates. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environments. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements required.
